This 7-day basic course is designed for beginners & intermediate who want to learn skiing or snowboarding in the most fun, safe, and professional way — surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Gulmarg.
Day 1 – Arrival in Kashmir Welcome to the paradise of snow! Arrive and settle into your stay — either at Dormitory or hotel stay. Today you’ll meet your instructors, get your ski or snowboard equipment, and receive a short orientation about the course and safety guidelines. ⸻ ⛷
Day 2 – First Glide: Getting Started Your real adventure begins! Learn the basics — standing, balancing, and moving on flat snow. You’ll spend the day on beginner (bunny) slopes, learning to trust your gear and your guide.
Day 3 – Balance & Turns Time to take your first turns! Learn how to glide smoothly, control your direction, and stop safely. You’ll feel the thrill of motion — your first real ride on snow!
Day 4 – Confidence on Slopes Start exploring slightly higher slopes. Work on your techniques, body posture, and speed control. By now, you’ll feel the mountain calling you for more.
Day 5 – The Challenge Begins We move to more advanced beginner terrain. Experience longer runs and improves your edge control. You’ll start to feel the rhythm of snow under your feet.
Day 6 – The Adventure Grows Depending on progress and conditions, we may even head towards Phase 1! Learn mountain awareness, practice endurance, and enjoy the adventure vibes with your team.
Day 7 – Practice & Perfection A full day to practice everything you’ve learned. Build confidence, enjoy free runs, and prepare for your final day. It’s time to show what you’ve mastered!
Day 8 – Final Ride & Certification Half-day session with fun group challenges and your final test. Celebrate your progress with a small certificate ceremony. You’ll leave Gulmarg with memories, skills, and a heart full of mountain magic.
